Systemic contact and stomach insecticide, with a wide range of action against mainly sucking insects as well as chewing insects in many cultures. Acetamiprid belongs to the neonicotinoid group and acts by binding the postsynaptic (nicotinic) acetylcholine receptors to the insect’s central nervous system.
