Systemic fungicide of the DMI group (triazole subgroup), with preventive, therapeutic and exterminating action on a wide range of fungi (Basidiomycetes, Ascomycetes, Deuteromycetes). At the biochemical level it acts by blocking ergosterol biosynthesis in place of C-14 demethylation
