Selective post-emergence herbicide to combat broadleaf weeds in cereals (soft and hard wheat, barley). It acts systemically, is mainly absorbed by the foliage and secondarily by the weeds’ root, is transferred to the extreme shoot and root meristems and prevents their growth. It acts as an inhibitor of the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, thus preventing the biosynthesis of amino acids.
